Capri with ford badges?

I have been working on my capri lately and one thing I was curious about is it has ford badges on it.  I can't seem to find another capri like this....now I don't know if they are factory because I am not the original owner I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this?

Are you talking about the hood emblem, or all of them? The Capris sold outside the US have ford badges. The ones inside the US have Mercury badges, but Ford logos on a lot of the misc molding and various parts.

The door sills I believe have ford badges, the key should say ford on it, like he said you'll see it fairly often.  If the car is right hand drive it was imported (unlikely).  If the front and rear have ford badges and the steering wheel as well; badges aren't hard to swap, and steering wheel is common among loads of ford vehicles.
