I found this while looking for parts. Don't know if anyone is looking for another one but it looks pretty decent.

Looks like an xr2 turbo, with fog lights and rear spoiler.  200K+ miles is a lot, and you might talk him down to $600!!!  I've got a red hardtop 91 xr2 already...

Small world. I grew up in Lancaster Co. My niece still lives in Mt Joy.

That's a lot of miles for a little engine. I'd say if you want it for parts it's okay. I see a wide range of prices on these cars. I talked with a man outside Las Vegas that his house was being foreclosed on. He had a nice 94 turbo with hardtop that he said he would take $300 to get it off the property. It was broke down but low miles. If it wasn't so far away I would love to had that car.

In Knoxville, TN last month one with 66,000 miles sold for $2500. I missed out on that one. I see running ones from $800 to $4000 so far. I have about $4000 invested in mine and another $3000 to have it where I want it. Hobbies aren't cheap. 😊

I posted it hoping someone could use the thing, I wish I had the money for it but I just fully restored one of my pickup trucks and that took a lot of my play money away. Last month I paid 500 dollars for my 1991 N/A with 200k on it. The car was maintained by dealership and was driven by an older woman so it wasn't abused. And mileage doesn't usually scare me, I currently have a 2000 ford expedition with 274k miles on it, 02 silverado has 340k on it, a malibu with 300k on it, and two old c10 pickups with who knows how many miles on them. All are original engines and have not been rebuilt. I bought both the expedition and 02 silverado brand new so all the miles were put on by me.

Do you have any info you could share on this car? Although I am near Chicago, I would drive to NV to save a 94 XR2.....

I'm a little slow Russ, lol. The guy was being evicted that week I talked with him. I'd say the car is still on the property or made its way to a local junkyard. It was in Pahrump, NV. Not a big town about a hour from Vegas. I doubt there was any other Capris in that town. So who knows?

There's a 91 red XR2, 108k with a hardtop in the Nashville, TN Craigslist. $800
