Ugh....Wife came home in her 94 NA spewing antifreeze and dead passenger side regulator.  Tiny coolant hose under the distributor blew. Replaced and running again....with a window stuck down.  It only a sunny day car...so no worries.  I have a spare passenger window regulation built by you know who, so that will be my next rainy day job.

That's a good afternoon job. Hopefully no damage done.

thanks Jack....no damage done.  Looks like it waited for her to get to our driveway before it split.  Car still runs good...she is a happy camper!

Discovered my had misplaced the journal I have been keeping for five years. It contained info on part numbers, interchanges, specs, and other general info that I used to help newbies and others who had problems and questions. Now I've got to start over and have never had any luck with the search feature.

I am back to a three Capri family again. A one owner, 1993 XR2 with 13K. The catch, it hasn't been fired since 2000.

Nice find Jack. You know what to do and not do at this point.  So many of these newbies want to try to fire it up right away without flushing everything and be sure it has good gas  It looks in great shape from the picture.

Thanks, the soft top is in tatters, the paint on the top surfaces is gone or pitiful, the interior is filthy from sitting, but the clutch works and it has the tightest shifter I've ever felt.  I'm hoping I can bring it back to life like I did the first one I ever had.

They were, I had to drag it off with the truck to get it rolling.

Finally brought my 93 NA home from storage unit, and put it in the new storage shed on my property.

Managed to get my fuel pump cleaned and looking like a real fuel pump. Also got most of the twenty year old gas out of the tank. It had a full tank by the way.

Awesome!

I got a pile of parts delivered from Rockauto. Still awaiting on another box from RA and a package or two from Amazon. Rotors, pads, brake hoses, wheel bearings, seals.
Not sure if I'm going to pad-slap it yet and try to see if the old rotors clean up or if I will dig in and do the wheel bearings.

If I do end up doing the rotors/ bearings I'll film it and stick a proper video on the youtube on how it's done. What with the stupid captured rotor design, it messes with a lot of people

Excellent, I'm getting charged up to do the same. Hoping my rusty 13K rotors will clean up. I'm hoping  my bearings will also be okay. Gonna put on new calipers and trying to find some braided brake hoses.
