Got to ride around with the top down again today.  My fourth last ride of the year.....lol  10 miles short of 200K in my '92 XR2.

Gentlemen! And ladies!

Long time no see!
I’ve had my Capri out a lot this season. Passed the dreaded TÜV (biennial inspection) and is good to go until 2024, when I’ll get the historic plates.

Tracking a problem which illuminates the “Check Engine” light after reaching operating temperature. Stays on. Engine Starts, rund, and reacts normally to throttle. The O2 sensor was replaced before the inspection, so that’s my prime suspect.

Greetings again from Germany. Good to be back!

Finally got the Capri from Duluth!

Drove three hours with a sketchy, spare, and no charging system. Then, when I finally got it up in the air, I found out I had two broken coil springs on the front. So I ordered some H&R lowering springs, put those in the front along with new KYB struts and House brand strut mounts.

Now, I’ve got to do front rotors, calipers, pads, rear sway bar links, replace the coil springs in the rear maybe, put in the new three row racing radiator. Besides the Falken Azenis awaiting installation, that’s about it for now.

94xr2 is up on blocks.  redoing half axles, struts, new springs, ball joints, tie rod ends, new brake flex lines, etc.   When I get this one done, I move onto my wifes 94NA to do the same thing.
