Got lucky at Pull-A-Part in Charlotte, NC.  Instrument panel, turbo and ECU and some other stuff.  The car has a  hardtop that has been painted flat black but is in good condition.  Please tell me a 93 ECU is the same as 91/92!

It is indeed the same ECU

Great and the turbo bearings are tight, although one of the blade tips is slightly bent.

Thanks, Jack Byrd

Went to the monthly cruise in at Elkin, NC. They were having a special event for Miatas.  I talked to a lot of the owners and members of the Carolina Miata Club.  Got a lot of interest and several compliments.  I was never able to get up with the president, but talked to several members and they said it should be possible for us to tag along at their events and they are very active with touring and shows.

Yeah. It all worked out well except for my oil filter sandwich. It leaked like a sieve. I need a better option for my external ProSport Oil Pressure gauge.

Is that a temperature sensor in the top hose?

Yes it is. It's for a digital ProSport gauge.

Some more new hoses that actually are from a silicon set of hoses I bought for the long heater hose in the back of the block. These were extra and just happen to be exactly what was needed to replace more old rubber hoses that are starting to go. Also in the pics is a new (discreet) BOV I have been itching to install. The diaphragm on my stock DV was gone long ago. I like it.
