I just got an xr2 and didn't like how hot it ran so I was thinking about swapping the radiator just to see if it helped......théy re less than $100 on rock auto.....

The factory radiator has a plastic top and bottom which seals to the metal core with a cork gasket. There are aftermarket radiators that are all metal and a much better radiator. There is a guy on Amazon that sells them very reasonably. I forget now but I think it was like $120.
They are better quality than the plastic ones. They'll withstand more punishment in case of overheating.

There ya go. Last time I checked, you could punch that part number into Amazon, and order the same exact part from a more known vendor. If you have a manual transmission, just leave the feed and return ports on the radiator for the ATF empty.
