Hi everyone,Just took my 1994 XR2 out of mothballs and thought I'd start posting a few pics of my progress... she sat in storage for about 5 years, but shes polishing up just like I last remember her
So far it's been recharge the battery and detail the interior up, and polish out the oxidation on the paint. I'm going to have to respray the bumpers since the paint took a turn for the worst there.
Surprisingly, after airing up the tires, a complete fluid check and a battery recharge, she fired right up and ran nice. Today was the first longish drive (80 mile round trip thru the local mountains) and she performed well, although a couple issues did show up. The radio sound is only coming from the right channel, the cruise control and horn are inop, and the headlights are not coming on...
