I want to buy a hood with vents for my 91
I just wanted to know if it's frowned upon beforehand.

Thanks  :)

There really isn't much that's frowned upon with these cars and especially not in this forum! As long as you like it...Not sure where you would find a hood that fits that already has vents, though. You would be better off designing something and modifying the stock hood.

The idea has been kicked around a bit on here and in the Facebook groups. A few people have come up with working vents and others have added scoops and so forth for looks. The best example (IMHO) so far is the F-40 style hood that Russ Carlson (CapriTypeR) used for his "Super-Roo". I'm sure he would be more than willing to post up a pic, I can't locate any at the moment.

Whatever you decide to do, post up some pics and build info so we can all see how awesome it turns out to be!

Awesome!
I found a place that does custom carbon fiber hoods. Most likely though, I would probably modify the stock hood.
And I will put pics up when I start the build :)

This group is pretty open to modifications, as there isn't much aftermarket out there. The more tasteful/well done the better I guess. heh
