I would abandon the window repair idea, and just get a new top. They are relatively inexpensive, and a new top dramatically changes the look of your car!

I can get you your production build numbers, but I would need the last 5 digits of your VIN number. Congratulations on owning the rarest of the the rare Capris!

Hi Russ, have you had a chance to look up the build data? Thanks for your help. I appreciate it!

I finally got a chance to run your VIN....

Your car is #302 off the line, was originally a MI car, and........Are you sitting down? I suggest you sit for this one.......Is one of only 27 painted in Dark Charcoal! That is the rarest color of the rarest Capri!

Congratulations!

WOW!  That is amazing! I'm almost afraid to drive the car now. Good thing is I didn't buy the car because it's rare and all that.  I think the Capri is one of the most interesting small convertibles out there.

Thanks a lot for looking up the info. I appreciate it.

You're welcome!
Don't be afraid to drive it - that's what it was built for!! However, DO take some extra steps to ensure it lives a long life. 1 of 27 ever shipped here......A car totally worth saving!!

Now, post some pictures!!
