very good possiblity as long as your talking about the engine alone. beyond that you might have small differences. That would be a good test if you do it and let others know of your success.

From experience, the distributors are different on the Capri vs the 323 variant.  Don't ask me why they did that!

I believe on that note it was cause of the timing. The computers are also different to make up for some other differences between the car.

lots of old dates shown here, but ill give it a try.....  i mounted the front calipers off of a 93 323 on my NA 91 capri.... the pistons were a little larger. the capri stops better, i think because now there is more rear engagement before the front. i believe the pads are a little larger as well. again, this is the NA car, with the smaller rotors.

If its made for a 323 GT (fwd) then quite possibly. GTX has different engine bay dimensions

Also - FWIW

323 rear subframes are the same as ours. Ours are usually thrown in theirs because the nonturbo 323's generally got drum brakes. 89 capri's in OZ got rear drums. 323 GT and GTX got rear disk, GTX rear end is totally different though.

The 323 turbo dizzy is the same electrically as the capri, same parts etc, but the plug/harness for it is different. The harnesses can be swapped from one to the other to make them work.

323 and Capri ECU's can be interchanged, but if you go to pull codes sometimes it will throw one for certain emissions solenoids. Not a big deal.
