hey all,
i bought a 1993 capri a couple weeks ago just to have a cheap backup car. need motor mount. went online and started looking up 1993 capri and have been facinated since.

of course it needs work...
door handles outside both
door handle inside driver
soft top has small hole and window is 1/2 out, but came with hardtop
i have decided it could be a project car for myself and kids. my little boy loves working on cars with daddy.
nice to meet you all

Welcome Gary!! You will come to love this quirky little car. I bought my first one for the same reason as you, and now I'm on my third!

Good luck and have fun!

Gary-
Tony's right, and what he didn't mention is that he is on his third Capri in a year! They ARE addictive, though. We have a rotating stock of between 14 and 17 of them all the time! 6 of them are our "core" cars - the cars we will never get rid of, and the others are for parts, or cars I could sell if I had to.
You picked the right forum - if you have any questions, this is the place to ask!
When your ready to pick up those parts you need, check out my website: www.Roo-Sport.com, or give us a call at (503)9194 CAPri (503-919-4227).
Welcome to the forum, and enjoy that Capri!
