FUEL TANK,

Ran over  shard of metal thats ripped the corner off my fuel tank,
any body taken theirs out? is it a mission, or does it just drop down?

had a full tank as well, damn it.  :(

simple to pull 5 bolts in in place but you need to pull the back seat and pull the cover in the middle to disconnect the electrical connection and the fuel lines on top

It bolts to the underbody of the car, making sure all the lines are disconnected can be a little tricky. The biggest problem I've run into is rusted bolts - the supports for the tank are flimsy steel. A rusted or jammed bolt will just twist the supports from the body.

thanks guys, what a nightmare drive to work,
ive located a spare fuel tank now at least.
