93 non turbo auto performance wierdness
« on: May 18, 2010, 10:55:00 AM »

Hello All,
I have a 93 auto in VGC that has developed an intermittant "fart & pull"*(*TM).
Anyway....more often than not when I accelerate, the car seems to have an irregular miss that can be felt in the car's motion. Sometimes, it runs fine.
I have replaced plugs, fuel filter, PCV valve, distributor cap & rotor...
Is this maybe a timing thing? A vacuum leak? or any ideas?
Thanks,
Phil

Check the wires and replace if needed. Probably do.

Hmm I have same problem on my xr2. But my plugs are only 8 months old.... I might try a set out from autozone to see if it fixes it. I can't seem to get this thing running right. I swear I have electrical gremlins...

I mean I got the car with the horn unhooked and it didn't work. One day randomly it worked...
