Well guys, since I wasn't able to make it to the meet I figured I'd let you all know what I've been working on. I started this project in April and its so close to being finished but I just couldnt do it in time for the meet.

I've been spending every minute of my spare time and even half of my family vacation trying to get it done. So much work  :(

I've got some pictures for y'all since I couldnt bring it to the meet to show it off. I've swapped the engine to a 1.8 out of a ford escort GT, plus the BP26 (BPT) turbo goodies. I'm using the old turbo from my B6T hybrid'd with the BPT turbo. I got rid of the FWD and forced a Mazda 323 GTX drivetrain in, so yes it is AWD. Its been insanely hard and needed way more parts than I ever expected. I dont have any recent pictures 'cause my camera is dead but I'll have some up soon. I need to take a break from working on this for a bit, its really burnt me out. I've been working 100% by myself, I even took all the pictures of me with the camera on a tripod...

Anyway here are some pics:

Hey Mathew!  I'm gonna scold you as I would my son or any of my work guys. Where are your safety goggles while under the car and gloves while welding. You're doing an incredible job, wish I was at your side with my two boys. Papa-Gus

Hey Matt!  I apologize, you have on gloves but with all the sparks you need a fire resistant jacket. Keep on keeping on.  Gus

I had to scramble under the car for that drilling shot to beat the camera timer    i was wearing them during actual drilling. I left my fire resistant jacket at work, flannel usually does me just fine

ya...

Flux Capacitors are always better when they say 'danger' on them..

In action:

With great power comes great responsibility... look what he did to Rensselaer!!

He went back in time with good intentions, to save the Prostitots... but screwed it all up... now it's time... time to go back to the future!

Yeah I've seen Shep's dsm...that thing is nuts. Hes got what? 80 grand invested in it? I heard a number somewhere.

Yen, The car in the background is my other slow project..its a 1991 Isuzu Impulse RS. One of 800 imported to North america, they're really really hard to find. They're also really potent...160hp turbo 1.6 dohc (stock!), put to the ground with a AWD system and handling by Lotus...good stuff. Took me a year to find an engine for it (didnt have one when I got it) and its nearly all together...but the GTXR2 has taken priority.

Lol @ the pics yuri. Yeah I need to get the Flux Capacitor fine tuned so I can go back in time and make it to the meet this year.
