the corksport downpipe fits real close to the crossmember, and you must grind a decent amount off the oilpan to make it fit...
yes the performance gains from it are worth the headache and time it will take to remove oil pan and mod it....hope theese pics help... stare long enough and you will understand...

Nice!  Does that run all the way to the turbo?  And what size is it?  I'm hoping to put a 3" on as far as it will go.  I've been looking at Corksport's site, but they (like most) make nothing for us.  What car is that designed to fit?

Thanks man!  If I'm seeing the proper corksport here, it looks like I'll have to give up AC?  Did I find the right one?  Not sure I'm ready to do that...

you can alway get the Miata top mount manifold...remote locate the turbo to the drivers side a bit and keep everything and go bigger on the turbo..

thoughts of mine...

Eh, I was considering a garret GT25, but I don't think I'm ready to spend that much money on this thing...my real dream car is a '70 z28, so when I start dropping big money, it will be on that.  I think I can live with no AC though.

Hey JD! Thats a real large expense. The guys who started that Take-n-bake pizza company precently paid $250,000 to buy back his. He had sold it for start-up money. He also paid a $50,000 finders fee in addition.  Gus

Wow...but I actually think I'm going to start with just a base camaro and piece it all together.  Heck, it might not ever reach a full z28, but I'll be happy as long as I keep moving in that direction.

well, rocket, i dont have the cs dp per say.. but what i do have, you may be interested in, and will be alot cheaper... i reflanged the cs downpipe to fit a mitsu flange when i went to that turbo ,...BUT... i still have the flange....
its made for a vj-14 hotside and has a built in divider to separate main and WG dump tubes.. its cutoff about a cm from the weld on both pipes
and could be welded up in no time to make a cs downpipe... and with only having the pipe to buy your gonna save alot of $$$....besides you can fab it up so you dont have to modify the oil pan .... if you want it, id be willing to talk trade no cash involved ... except to ship...gimme a few days and ill post some pics of it on here for ya...
