Convertible top leaking
« on: July 11, 2009, 06:17:00 AM »

I recently bought a 1991 Capri and it leaks on the passengers side.  Top doesn't seem to come down far enough over the passenger side door.  Do I need to replace the top or is their an adjustment I can make. The top is not the original.
If it does need replaced is there someplace to purchase the top that is recommended.  Is canvas or vinyl better.

i think you can adjust the hooks where it attaches to the windshield. shorten up that side a bit and it should pull it closer. also make sure you window goes up all the way. check and see if it is in the seal at the top. it might be off a bit there too.
