Looking to replace the shaft on the manual shifter with something angled backwards.  Hopefully making it easier to reach and allow for the cupholder insert.  Any leads?

Thanks

It would be a few hours worth of work to remove the shifter and cut/weld or just bend it in a vise in two areas to bring it closer to your specification...

If you are asking about aftermarket then there is an adjustable short throw shifter available somewhere for the 323, I think from Corksport. I dont know if it will achieve what you are after though.

I would suggest replacing the shifter bushings while you are in there regardless.

Thanks for the reply.  Does anyone have pictures of the shifter assembly with the both and console off?

Thanks
