my Distributor seems to have gone bad, will try
the igniter first. while checking out parts I
came across a distributor sold online at auto
parts warehouse, and parts train. it is sold as
a snap brand, and is manufactured by mitsubishi.
141.00 at parts train, and 169.00 at parts warehouse. this is cheaper than you can by both
electronic pickups for. has anyone tried this
distributor.?

thanks rocket, sounds like your up on capri
electronics. I can get an igniter at checker
for 35, and napa for 54. probably will go with
napa. have had junk from checker before.

Hey Mike the desert rat. Can't give you further help on the module as I depend upon Pep Boys and Kragen. But where in the desert are you?  Gus

I live in Elko Nev. A long way from anywhere.
kind of nice for setting the cruise at 110 where
you can see for miles and miles. I worked at a
gold mine for over 25 years that produces over
a million ounces of gold a year. do you live
out west?

Hey Mike! Yeh! I'm in Sacramento. I see you're one of the first members of this forum but you don't chime in. I've run several Hi-way runs that mostly base out of Ely and run north on many different hi-ways. I have a capri in the planning stages to be put together for those. Become more active in the forum.  Gus

Gus, hope you get your Capri up and running.
I have had my CapriXr2 since new. this is the
first work I have had to do to it, except for
maintanice. I have watched over the years at
other Capri owners fixing there bugs. Capris
can be quite a challange for the back yard
mechanic. I have a 87 Mitsubishi pickup I
bought new, it is so easy to work on.
