Hey Mitch! You can move the pivot ball away from the fork end of the shifter. I've done it on three of my cars. Just slice the pivot ball with a thin abrasive wheel that is available for use with a dremel tool. Afterwards wedge the ball open enough to move the ball about 1/2 inch up the shaft.release the wedge and temporarely install the shifter, check for the action. Don't go much more than this as you'll lose leverage and the mechanism will interfere with other things. When you get it right then spot weld the ball in two places keeping everything together. This a good time to replace the plastic bushings in the shifter and linkage. Good Luck Gus!

Hey Timmy! Pull the shifter out of the car and move the pivot ball up on the shaft approx. 1/2 inch. Don't more as it won't give enough leverage and will drag on the tranny. I've done three so far.  Gus.

I went to their site and it isn't listed anymore.

Hey Timmy!  Not entirely. Just imagine the shifter knob dropping 1/2 inch. I don't have a coin holder in my speedster so I can't tell you.  Gus

i have the adjustable unit from corksport/pacesetter... it works great and shortens throws considerably.. only issue is the shorter you go the harder it gets to shift...
but basically any adjustable throw shifter does it...its all about leverage....
