well i did finally, after searching peoples engine compartments for months find out the original app, for my big assed radiator...
(gost will love this) its from a 95-99 eagle talon/mitsu eclipse... back when i was considering trading my buddy for his talon i noticed some similarities and sure enough we parked the cars side x side and there identical
so now thats injectors, turbo and aluminum radiator from a mitsu...

but anyway, yea an aluminum radiator from whatever should work.. a civic half radiator should be plenty there dual core and would allow extra room in the front of the engine compartment
as for how to mount it in the car...good times...

after doing lots of internet hopping i think i might just get this dual 12" electric fan setup and that might help out the radiator a lot.

i had to take my 180*thermo out becuase in the fall and winter my car never heats up properly..
i have a stock 195* in there now and it stays cool yet lets the engine heat up properly..

the good thing about buying fans for the radiator you have..
is that later on down the road you can upgrade to an aluminum unit and still use your new fans

nothing cools like an aftermarket aluminum radiator...
the reason for the disclaimer is that there fragile... the fins bend if you touch them..

if there wasnt a front mount in front of it im sure debris may hit mine but it dosent and my FMIC is amazingly, pretty rugged...

i didnt really switch mine out becuase my car was getting hot... i poked a hole in the stock one while changing out a turbo.. my buddy had this one lying arround the garage... and it happens to be an aftermarket radiator for a
95-99 eclipse...

i removed my ac and mine ran super cool. even in the 115deg temps here in az...that condenser blocks a ton of air.i only ran the main fan and had it on all the time.

The stock rad isn't bad, i've seen so many types of OEM capri radiators too. There are some really nice thick core all-metal radiators out there.

I bought a civic half-rad, and I'm not pleased with how small it is. The in/outs are the wrong size too, and the bottom one will need relocated.

I haven't written if off yet, but I gotta do some thinkin before I install it.

Im running a stock festiva radiator. Its tiny. It hasnt overheated once though. Even in the 90 degree heat. Im also using the condenser fan from the capri.

Granted, I havent gotten stuck in traffic or anything, but if I did get stuck I would probably shut off the engine to save gas. I havent really done any sort of endurance runs either.
