shifter falls out

hey guys my shifter falls out and hits my exhaust was wondering how to fix that or where i can find the rubber pieces that hold it up?

Check this out, it should work for you. Of course, ignore the first few pics if you aren't in an "emergency" situation.

i recently lost the nut for my stationary shift rod and im having a hard time finding a new one that will fit.

can anyone tell me what size and of nut it is exactly?

Not sure of the exact size - but is is for sure metric. The hardware store should have what you need.

thanks rocketman ill try again today i tried a few metric ones yesterday and none of them fit. i found one the right size but the threading wasnt right.

Back when I had one of these... once I was out of town and my mom was driving my car. Shifter dropped, and they paid over $600 to get it fixed. My dad nearly had a heart attack when I told him how to do it for free.
