Junk yard ECU?
« on: March 02, 2011, 05:30:00 PM »

I'm about to get mine rocketchipped & picked up a junkyard ECU. If I swap it in my XR2 to see how it works will it mess anything up if it's not good? Also any ideas on an electronic boost controller? Thanks any/everyone.

RM emailed me and said it shouldn't hurt anything. So I disconnected the battery cable, unplugged my ECU plugged the other one in & drove around-not too far in case I had to walk back.

Really like that AEM. Gotta save for it. Just got a SSQV3 which took a chunk of change,@ least I think I can get it welded in place for free:)
