Cooling fan question

I notice my cooling fan runs when I start the car cold.  I don't remember it doing this before?  It runs for a while then shuts off and works normally.  Should I be worried?

i dont think should worry about the fan running with its starts sounds like a sensor going bad like the temp sensor but i would keep an eye on it or maybe go ahead and replace it  i make my fan run all the time because i dont drive normal its always to the floor lol so i need mine to run all the time to help keep it cool..
