Hey Russ! That's a sharp looking Toileta, back off; she's ready to flush. Ha!  Ha!  All aside she's sharp. You'll need a good metal man to install the side scoops. And take this as constructive critisism, fill your wheel wells more. Nice wheels!  Gus

Yuri-
Do what you can!!  Thanks!

Gus-
She's already wearing 17" wheels now, and I agree-to much wheel well! I don't like the ride from lowering springs- to rough for my bad back!

So what do you guys think??  Would the scoops (or something similar) look decent on these cars?

If there were no trim piece, they might work.  But our trim piece is right where the scoops need to be for good symatry. When am I going to see my hood Russ?

Bob-
Go out to your garage, take the cover of your Capri, and look down - There's your hood!!

As always, the issue with the kits, hoods, etc. has been money.  Now that I'm unemployed, I can't see how that would change, except now I have a lot more time to attempt to learn how to do fiberglass myself.  Soooooo......I get to try to make my first mold this Winter, and see how it( and the parts that come out of it) turns out. If everything works well, I'll move up to the bigger pieces.  Keep your fingers crossed!!

I was thinking of placing the scoop just under our trim piece, and just above the 94 XR2 side skirts.  That's why I want the photoshop job, to assist me in visualizing the whole thing.

Hey Russ! They can work. Doing something like a photo-shop would nice. There are other side scoops around. If I see something I'll send a mail.  Gus.  PS I went up against one of toyotas a little over a year ago, not again until I get a bigger cavalry. I later found out he does 12.60 quarters.  Gus

Those MR2's are BAD-AZZ!!! Go up against one of the turbo'd ones, and it is definetly a race!
I've liked them since they came out, plus they have the Ferrari F355 body kits for them

OK, the scoops I'm looking at, are 19" long x 12" high. I'm going out to measure the car now...
In the meantime, heres a picture of what I'm looking at:

Hey Russ! That's what I ran into. He had a few things done. You can possibly trim those scoops. I remember someone posting a Fiero comversion that looked sharp.  Gus.
