un naturally aspirated huh.... that means id technically have two of them, right? the red car has a n/a shortblock with all the b6t stuff from the first motor .. and the blue car has a na motor with the turbo stuff from an xr2...
that is a good point, but does that technically mean my xr2 is no longer an xr2 since it has an na block??? or that my blue na is now an xr2 becuase it has the turbo stuff???
then is it fair to compare a modified 91 xr2 to a modified 91 na thats been turbod...
then the question of what to class rockets gtxr2 as comes to mind becuase he has the bp motor..
or russ, what would you class your new brainchild as when its done
?
or to throw a stick in the gears ..or should i say a log... if i were to follow my plans to make a capricamino... what the hell does it classify as?
to sum it up briefly.. my idea is this....
we have 3 classes in each year class.91-92-93-94 "stock/resto".. "modified"...and "highly modified"..
for all the creations that are now appearing at the shows...
my 91, rockets car, and russ's superroo.. would all be classed as "highly modified"...a car like gosts or joshes would be "modified" and of course the clean stock cars would be stock/resto
thats 12 trophys.. and in some categorys the "highly modified" class would go to no one...
if the turnout is anything like its looking to be this year.. the cost would be nulled..and it would help to spread the trophys arround a bit...
just an idea, to help to figure out what to do...Joe
